Recommendations for insects for food and feed
Kisumu, Kenya, 2-3 March 2016 – An international conference has endorsed the use of insects as alternative sources of food for human consumption and as feed for livestock, globally and specifically in East Africa.

New initiative on climate change adaptation

Insects for food and feed research attracts new funding
In November 2015, the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), Germany, approved a EUR 1,200,000 funding for a new project within icipe's fast rising Insects for Food and Feed programme.
