Torymidae
This pretty female is a member of the family Torymidae. The torymids are a relatively small group compared to several of their related families, which together are bundled into the higher grouping known as the Chalcidoidea. This species falls into the tribe Podagrionini, the members of which are parasitoids in the ootheca of praying mantids (Mantodea).
