INVITATION FOR BIDS (IFB)

PROVISION OF INDIVIDUAL CONSULTANT SERVICES TO CONCEPTUALIZE, CO-DESIGN AND PRODUCE INTERPRETIVE AND EDUCATIONAL PANELS AND BRIEF EDUCATIONAL BROCHURES FOR THE ‘HEALTHY HOME’ PROJECT AT icipe

1). The International Centre of Insect Physiology and Ecology (icipe) is an intergovernmental organisation headquartered in Nairobi, Kenya that carries out research and training in sustainable management of insects (arthropods) for improving comprehensive health and agricultural productivity in the tropics (www.icipe.org).

2). icipe intends to engage a qualified Individual Consultant to conceptualize, co-design and produce interpretive and educational panels and brief educational brochures for the ‘healthy home’ project at icipe.  For more details find the Terms of Reference (TOR) here: LINK

3). icipe, now invites interested bidders who are able to demonstrate technical capability to undertake this assignment.

4). Interested bidders should provide:

  • Detailed cover letter expressing interest in this assignment, including full contact details (name, Tel/E-mail), and physical address.
  • Detailed CV to demonstrate technical capacity of the Consultant in terms of qualifications and competencies for the assignment. A university degree in graphic design from a recognized training institution is preferred.
  • Evidence of professional training and experience in producing similar materials described in the TORs.
  • Name and contract details of at least two (2) references whom you have provided similar service.
  • A portfolio of similar work completed.
  • Work plan clearly indicating the maximum time/duration required for the assignment.
  • Total discounted quote with cost breakdown to perform the assignment, including any chargeable taxes.

5). Completed proposals must be submitted via e-mail (icipetenders@icipe.org) on or before 11:00 hrs East Africa Time on 9th June 2023. The submissions should be addressed per the address below and clearly marked: ‘Invitation for Bids – Individual Consultant to conceptualize, co-design and produce interpretive and educational panels and brief educational brochures for the ‘healthy home’ project at icipe”.
