Research project: Management of key lepidopterous pests of amaranths using biopesticides
Selpha is an ARPPIS PhD Fellow supervised by Dr. Sunday Ekesi (icipe) and Prof. Hannalene du Plesis (North West University, South Africa). Selpha research interests include insect ecology and pathology and is currently researching on management of key lepidopterous pests of amaranths using biopesticides. Selpha completed her undergraduate studies in Bachelor of Education (Science) in Biology at Maseno University, Kenya and obtained an MSc in Applied Parasitology and Vector Biology from the same university. She is currently registered for a PhD at (North West University, South Africa) and is supported by a scholarship from DAAD.
