Ms Caroline Nungari is an Associate Human Resources Manager in the Human Resources Unit at icipe. She has previously served as a Senior Human Resources Officer and Human Resources Officer. Prior to joining icipe, Caroline worked as a Human Resources Officer at Kenya Tea Development Agency.
 
She holds an MBA-Project Management option from Kenyatta University, Bachelor of Business Administration in Human Resources Management from the Kenya Methodist University and, Diploma in Leadership and Management from Strathmore University. She is also a certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP) and a member of the Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM).
 
As an Associate Human Resources Manager, Caroline is responsible for managing the portfolios of Internationally Recruited Staff (IRS), consultants, and visiting scientists. This includes the entire IRS employee cycle of recruitment, contract and employment management, compensation and benefits and separation.
