Ms Rose Mburu is the Research Support Manager in the office of the Director General at icipe and is based at the Duduville Campus. Rose holds a master’s degree in Business Administration (Strategic Management) from United States International University (USIU) and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the Kenya Methodist University. She is a member of the Project Management Community and the Institute of Human Resources Management, Kenya. Prior to joining icipe, Rose worked as a Global Program Administrator at International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center (CIMMYT). She has also served as a Project Manager at the University of Maryland - Institute of Human Virology (UMB-IHV). Some of her professional achievements are in the areas of administration, project management and coordination. Her passion lies in creating and maintaining efficient, high-functioning work environments by streamlining processes, coordinating multifaceted projects, and supporting teams to reach their objectives.
