Request For Proposal (RFP) – Exhibition Booths and Outdoor Infrastructure

  1. The Bioresources Innovations Network for Eastern Africa Development (BioInnovate Africa) is a regional biosciences research and innovation initiative established in 2010 with support from the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida). It is a regional Programme based at the International Centre of Insect Physiology and Ecology (icipe), and operates in Burundi, DR Congo, Ethiopia, Kenya, Rwanda, South Sudan, Tanzania and Uganda. BioInnovate Africa assists these countries to benefit from the revolutionary advances in biosciences, contributing to economic growth and sustainable development.
  2. icipe/ BioInnovate Africa seeks to engage a firm to design, supply, deliver and install Exhibition Booths and outdoor infrastructure for The Global Bioeconomy Summit 2024 In Nairobi, Kenya to be held from 22nd – 24th October 2024. Please find more details in the attached Terms of Reference (TOR) HERE
  3. icipe now invites interested qualified firms who are able to demonstrate technical capability to successfully deliver the above-mentioned assignment.
  4. Interested parties should:
    1. Be registered with the relevant statutory authority and attach copies of the registration certificate, valid business license and valid Tax Compliance Certificate.
    2. Have at least 5 years demonstrable relevant experience in providing high-quality and International Standard Exhibition booths, and outdoor infrastructure. Preference will be given to firms with sufficient experience in providing similar service to international organisations involving local, regional, and international events for over 1,000 guests.
    3. List at least 3 examples of similar events successfully implemented in the past three years.
    4. Provide contact details of at least three (3) organisations where you have providedsimilar services to. These referees will be contacted.
  5. The Request for Proposal (RFP) must be submitted electronically through e-mail icipetenders@icipe.org on or before 11:00 hours East Africa Time on 5th July 2024. The submissions should be clearly marked: ‘Request for Proposal – Design, Supply, Delivery and Installation of Exhibition Booths and Outdoor Infrastructure for The Global Bioeconomy Summit 2024 In Nairobi, Kenya”.

Late submissions will be rejected.
