INVITATION FOR BIDS – E-learning Platform

CONSULTANCY FIRM TO DESIGN AND DEVELOP AN E-LEARNING PLATFORM AT icipe FOR HOSTING A SERIES OF PROGRAMMES AND COURSES MEANT TO EDUCATE/SENSITIZE EMPLOYEES ON ORGANIZATIONAL POLICIES AS WELL AS STRENGTHEN CAPACITY WHILE GROWING BOTH THEIR CURRENT AND NEW EDUCATIONAL AND PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  1. The International Centre of Insect Physiology and Ecology (icipe) is an intergovernmental organisation headquartered in Nairobi, Kenya that carries out research and training in sustainable management of insects (arthropods) for improving comprehensive health and agricultural productivity in the tropics (www.icipe.org).
     
  2. icipe intends to engage a qualified Consultancy Firm to design and develop an e-learning platform at icipe for hosting a series of programmes and courses meant to educate/sensitize employees on organizational policies as well as strengthen capacity while growing both their current and new educational and professional skills and competencies.   3. icipe, now invites interested bidders who are able to demonstrate technical capability to undertake this assignment.
     
  4. Interested bidders should provide:
    1. Detailed cover letter expressing interest in this assignment, including full contact details (name, tel. e-mail), and physical address, signed by an authorised representative.
    2. Copies of the consulting firm’s statutory registration documents, PIN certificate, and valid business licence.
    3. Detailed firm’s profile, including organization chart.
    4. Evidence of the Firm and Technical team’ experience in delivering similar assignments during the last five (5) years. Provide contacts of at least three (3) references from key clients you have provided similar service.
    5. CVs of the Lead Consultant and key technical staff who will deliver the project, clearly indicating technical skills, academic qualifications and years of experience.
    6. Provide a competitive and detailed cost breakdown (in US$) to perform the assignment, including all the chargeable taxes.
       
  5. Completed proposals must be submitted electronically through e-mail to icipetenders@icipe.org on or before 11:00 hours East Africa Time on 9th April 2021. The submissions should be addressed per the address below and clearly marked: ‘Request for Quotations – Provision of Consultancy service to design and develop an e-learning platform at icipe for hosting a series of programmes and courses meant to educate/sensitize employees on organizational policies as well as strengthen capacity while growing both their current and new educational and professional skills and competencies”.
