Ms Kristin Seljeflot

Ms. Kristin Seljeflot joined icipe as a Resource Mobilization Specialist under the Regional Coordination Unit of the Regional Scholarship and Innovation Fund (RSIF). Ms. Seljeflot is an Economist who has specialized in Inclusive Partnerships and Resource Mobilization for Sustainable Development. Her core competencies include fundraising strategy, partnerships development, proposal writing, managing fundraising and external relations, quality assurance and donor communication gained from working with Civil Society, the UN System and Government. 

Ms. Seljeflot worked with the Pan African Organization Agency for Cooperation and Research in Development (ACORD) in the Secretariat of the Development Assistance Group (DAG), Ethiopia, co-chaired by UNDP and the World Bank, and as a Facilitator for harmonization for the Ethiopian Government based in UNDP. She also worked for a French Research Association (CIDR) in South-West Madagascar and for the Center for Applied Research (SNF) at NHH in Bergen, Norway. 

She holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the Norwegian School of Economics, NHH, Bergen, and a Master of International Management degree from HEC Paris. Her undergraduate degree is in Development Studies from UiA, Kristiansand, Norway. She has lived in Africa for the last two decades.
