Abel is the Project Accounting Manager at icipe. He holds Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Commerce degrees from the Catholic University of Eastern Africa. He is also a certified accountant and a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK).

Prior to joining the Centre, Abel worked at BioInnovate Africa Phase I at the International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI), the Catholic Medical Mission Board (CMMB) Kenya, and African Development Solutions (Adeso).

He possesses extensive experience, with an impressive track record of providing leadership, financial management and administrative support in the design and implementation of programmes/projects in the not-for-profit sector.
